Domestic and international travel can be arranged for workshops, events and retreats. CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

GENTLE YOGA / OPEN LEVEL HATHA YOGA

This practice is open to all levels, great for beginners and continuing students seeking a slower pace as well as those with specific physical concerns. This class sequence focuses on postural alignment and basic breathing techniques. Seated, standing and inverted postures will be taught so they are accessible to everyone.


RESTORATIVE YOGA

This is a gentle practice where postures are held for extended periods of time with full support of props without creating the sensation of stretch. Suitable for everyone, this slow practice is the perfect compliment to a Vinyasa – Power Flow.


YIN YOGA

Yin is practiced with or without props, postures are held for extended periods of time inviting the sensation of stretch. As described by my teacher Bernie Clark, Yin Yoga targets the connective tissues, such as ligaments, bones and even the joints of the body that are not normally targets in other practices. Suitable for everyone, this practice is the perfect compliment to a Vinyasa – Power Flow.


YOGA NIDRA / DEEP RELAXATION

Yoga Nidra also known as yogic sleep consists of a guided meditation that will induce a state of consciousness between awake and sleep. Grab your extra comfy clothes, blankets and pillows and give yourself the much deserved gift of time to rest and restore.


FLOW / VINYASA / POWER FLOW

Vinyasa style yoga classes there is a dynamic flow from posture from posture, where transitions are as beneficial as the poses themselves. Eventually movement becomes aligned and linked with the breath so that you move with in inhale and exhale. Vinyasa can be referred to as Flow Yoga or Yoga Flow. This is a dynamic and athletic practice will flow through standing, balancing, and seated postures with sun salutations, core work and time to play in inversions. Vinyasa Flow is open to all levels and abilities. Power Flow is a faster pace more dynamic practice inviting strength building & sweat.


KIDS / FAMILY YOGA

Interactive practice includes conscious touch. Kids yoga improves strength and flexibility, increases self-confidence and builds a positive self-image, increases emotional resilience, nourishes creativity, teaches self-acceptance and self-love, builds coordination and balance, expands self-awareness and awareness of others, develops self-discipline and self-control, builds concentration, increases awareness of breathing and deepens the breath, teaches how to relax and reduce stress and teaches how to find inner peace.


YOGA FUSION

This 90-Minute practice weaves together Yoga Asana and Pilates sequencing with option to explore shapes with stability balls, Pilates balls, resistance bands and yoga strap work. Full body experience to love on your legs, core, arms and breath. Options to turn up or down your practice with modifications.


Y12SR MEETINGS

Whether you are working to overcome addiction or are impacted by addictive behavior or others, Yoga of 12-Step Recovery (Y12SR) Meetings are for you. Donation-based Y12SR meetings consists of a group sharing circle, and an intentional yoga class taught by a certified Y12SR guide.

ZEN BARRE®

Zen Barre®a groundbreaking 60 min yoga + barre + Pilates & strength training for all fitness levels.


BRO-GA YOGA

This practice is for those who identify as male and would like to explore yoga. This practice is open to all levels, a mix of Open Level Hatha and Vinyasa Flow.


PRIVATE YOGA SESSIONS

KARMA YOGA

Inclusion Wellness Community embraces the philosophy of yoga, we believe in Serving our community and spreading kindness.

  • Beach & Trail Clean Ups - This is ongoing practice as a community, whenever we are out as group or individually.

  • Katherine is currently connected to a MeetUp Volunteer group, if you would like to be looped in please reach out.

NEW STUDENTS: WHAT TO EXPECT

Upon arrival you will find a sign in sheet, a registration form and liability waiver. If you have any questions while completing the paperwork I am available to assist.

Each course or event will begin with a brief introduction.

Yoga, Kids/Family Yoga and Zen Barre® will start with a warm up, include a cool down and time of rest at the end of class.

If you brought a yoga mat or your own props fantastic, we also have Eco-friendly yoga mats and non-toxic props available for you to utilize.

All courses and events will have First Aid Kits and CPR Masks on hand. Katherine is First Aid/CPR/AED Certified.
